Stichting Paul Erdős

About Us

Stichting Paul Erdős is a foundation organising annual study trips outside the Netherlands for all Physics and Mathematics students enrolled in Amsterdam. During these trips we will go to universities and research institutes to see how different countries do their science and to promote international collaboration. In previous years we went to, among others: Great-Britain, Scandinavia and Japan. In 2023 we're planning on travelling to South-Korea for 3 weeks.

These trips are organised by our Foreign Excursion Committee (BEC), who in turn is supported by the board of the foundation. We aspire to travel outside of Europe once every 5 years, these intercontinental trips are organised by the intercontinental Foreign Excursion Committee (iBEC)
